Celebrating June
There were many things that I celebrated with friends and families this month of June. So before the calendar say goodbye to June and hello to July I will post the summary of those celebrations that were dear to my heart.
First up: June 7, Cai's Birthday
I wasn't able to go to Anawangin Party of Cai for her birthday but at least in my heart and spirit I'm with them and the rest of the Petix.
Cai has been my best friend during my whole college years. Technically not all college time when I count when we were still in St. Paul because we are on different peers that time but after St. Paul Cai has been a part of my life in and out of my school life.
So to my bestfriend and sister from a different parents.. Cheers to your birthday!!!! Will be here celebrating more years to come. You should know that I will always thank God that he gave me you as a friend.. I love you :)Second : June 11, Tita Myla's Birthday
Tita Myla is my tita/barkada/financer/ all wrap in one. She will be the one who I will ask to get my card when I know it was too low for my parent's standard. She will be the one I will be whining to when I got stressed up because I cant live up to my parents's expectations. She will be the one I will ask to buy me stuff abroad and send it to me. So to my favorite Tita of all time..
Happy Happy Birthday. I might have "tampo" to you and you feel that my interaction with you is different, I know its for the better so that the "respect issue" within the family don't come up anymore. You will always have a very special spot in my heart.. I love YOU!!!
Third: June 17: Father's Day 2012
My dad is the one person I really look up to. The number 1 person for me, the number 1 man for me. I always tell people that when in time that I meet a man or marry one, I would like him to be like my Papa Jojo. He will always be my point of comparison to anyone. I would never meet any one who will be better than my Papa in supporting me, loving me, forgiving me, providing me and accepting me, I owe everything that I am to him except for God. So to my hero, my dad, my love..Happy Father's Day. I love You!!! Mwuahhh
The most makulit of all my cousin. That would be my best description to Troy. He will be the only one who will reason you out with acceptable reason but quite funny as well. I once tag him as ang kabaliktaran ni Santino. I once also suggested to buy him a shirt with tag on it "SUTIL" for his attitude which all turned out to be a laugh for all of us. We always tend to get angry at each other during his stay here last summer but none the less it was a happy memory to last forever. So to my makulit, adorable and cute pinsan
.Happy Birthday Troy. Grow up nicely :)
Fifth : June 24, Jarf's 10th Birthday
Jarf or Apie as we call him at home is the bunso of the family. The achiever. The favorite and the adorable. I've been always jealous of the fact that he was the bunso,. Having both Kuya and Ate who caters to him. BEing the bunso who has or most of the time have everything that I dont. I admit that at times I have grudges and at times it disappears but none the less, Jarf would always be our baby. After all he was the only sibling I have that I was able to watch grow and develop.
SO to my bunso..Happy Happy Birthday. Ate will always be here for you. I love you ..
6th:June 29 Mama and Papa's 14th Wedding Anniversary
Lastly, my parents wedding anniversary. I always tend to forget this date but for sure starting this year I would never miss it. I was actually taken aback when my mom was cooking lasagna when I arrived from my appointment and when my dad called it became a joke to us as to the reason she was suddenly cooking. I learned that it was their church wedding anniversary. Silently, after i knew, I prayed and thank God for a 14 fruitful marriage they shared.
It was really a memory to my mind that they had thier church wedding because I was changing school and at that time the school needs that my parents are wed in a church wedding. So happy that I was a reason behind this
. Mama and Papa..we love you me, Franz, Dara and Jarf will be counting for the years to come. :)

Vacation Mode: ITS MORE FUN IN LUBANG ISLAND
Here is another post that is SUPER LATE. My two week vacation in Mindoro. After Kuya RR's wedding, we are headed for vacation mode in MIndoro. Tita Beth invited me to go with them since its been a while since I got a vacation and been sooooooo long since I went to Agkawayn 17 years to be exact. So what happened in those two weeks? Well I cant keep up with a photo diary since the you can't actually go with the flow to the phase of everyone in the province so basically this post will be according to what I remember hahaha.
My Lola Reling woke me up and fetch me around 3 a.m. Since my packing of stuff was really rushed so basically I wasn't able to sleep very well. We went to a 3-4 hours drive to Batangas Port. I must admit that those 4 hours were gruesome because the van was really full, you can just take a nap while sitting, the driver was "matagtag magdrive", and so many more complaints I cannot utter. The two things that I really enjoyed in that long drive was our stop over because aside from I was able to stretch my legs, we had some "taho" in an early cold morning. It was like when I was young and I always buy that stuff to make me full. The second one was when my Lola Reling was arguing with other's passenger with the like of no respect for other time and just buy your own transportation stuff. It was funny that me and Ate Bang was laughing and we have to tell Lola Reling to chill.
Our transpo was a ferry and the coast guard in the area was really strict, it so happen that my name was not listed on the ferry where all of my relatives are riding. Seriously, I want to cry that moment and text my mom that I have to be left out. But good thing that my Lola Reling and someone she knows was able to pull something off. On that incident, I was actually touch by my titos concern for me, Tito Andy and Tito Boy was really willing to be left out so that I can take their place and they will just wait on the next ferry. It was really a blessing that we were able to go all together. My misery didn't actually end there, we were travelling already and to my surprise I was seasick that I thought I was gonna puke. On my head I was really laughing at myself for being a scene stealer that I always end up being look at by many people and probably being laugh or pitied upon.

| Summary of my vacation: BAKASYONISTA |
The night that we arrive I was surprise that we have appointment for the ribbon cutting ceremony. During the preparation, I was briefed by Lola Reling as to why we are attending it. Tita Beth and Tito Andy together with her friends from the States actually donated some money for the baranggay hall so as sign of gratitude they are the ones to cut the ribbon for the ceremony.

The Second night was the auditorium night. It was also a funny night because the auditorium was not yet starting because they reynas was not there yet. The funny this was when we were informed about it, Tita Beth and Tito Andy was sleeping soundly and it was really awkward to wake them up. More funny was when the organizer was asking Tita Beth that Tito Andy should also be there, haha Tito Andy was really knocked out badly that night that Tita Beth just said "ay naku ako nalang at tulog na si Andy, ang hirap sa kanila di agad nila sinabi". So we end up rushing Tita Beth to have another shower and make up session.

Personally, the vacation was really fun, i experience a lot and learn so much about my relatives. I was also inspired and motivated during the vacation. I really do believe that everyday is a learning experince and sometimes the things that you experience and you thought it was just ordinary was actually a lesson learned from above, it just depend on you on how you perceive those thoughts.
I particularly enjoyed my bonding with Ate Bang. Since we were so distant with regards house location, we were not able to meet, until Kuya RR's wedding. I really don't know how will I survive if she was not with us during the vacation. The stories we shared each other, the kalokohan, kaartehan, kakikayan and galaan, it was one hell of a vacation with her. I'm hoping to have another with her and Tita Myla, with them I can actually feel matured yet young at the same time.

Mother's Day Galore
"A mother is she who can take the place of others, but whose place no one else can take"
--Cardinal Mermilloid--
| Two of the greatest Mom on Earth Tita Myla and My MOM :) |
Second Sunday of May is always celebrated in the whole world for Mother's Day. Actually last week of April or beginning of May you can actually feel that theme with all sales on the mall regarding mother's day and all the advertisement on the televisions or in print pertaining to motherhood and how we should always be thankful to one of the most influential woman in our life, our Mother.
Since Tita Myla is having a vacation at home and in time with Mother's Day we decided to celebrate it by going out and not our traditional mother's day celebration of just ordering out and just give Mama something as a gift. We started our day with attending the mass. It was really funny how my mom and tita did really prepare for the mass. They actually wear a semi-formal wear, with all the make up and jewelries which was out of the ordinary. It was a fun way to start the day because the pries gives special blessings for the mothers on thier special day and there was a song number that was specially prepared. The song was the classic song "Duyan ni Nanay" and for me it is always magical that even the song was played numerous times for different occasions, the feeling and the message always touch the heart.
As for the place, we went to SM Manila because my mom suggested that after few hours of malling, we can go to Luneta Park so that Maui and Troy can experience the Rizal Park adventure. My cousins are actualoly having a vacation at home and they stay at Mindoro, so we always tend to make them pasyal as much as possible and let them experience some Manila time moments. The first thing that caught our attention when we eneter the mall was the huge sign of Happy Mother's Day 2012 and stage that we really took a picture behind it for souevnier purposes which came out well.

We arrive exactly for Lunch time so after some picture taking on some of MOther's day related background we ate at Mang Inasal, which was a furst for Tita Myla, Nestroy and Maui. Its a good thing that they did enjoy the meal.

Next stop? SHOPPING!!!!. This is the only thing that I enjoyed even though I didn't buy anything for myself. The joy of looking at good stuff was really fun for me, I don't know why. My mom was doing an early shopping for uniform, school stuff. Ofcourse, my toka is looking for something good and "bagay" to my brothers (my mom probably thinks that the stuffs we (Dara and me) are expensive 'coz we are girls so we didn't buy much for ourselves.) which makes a little bit jealous. We also bought mom a new pair of doll shoes which she pick out herself, she was actually worried that we don't have money to buy it (what do you think of us ? POOR? hahaha!!!)
After the tiresome yet fun shopping, we went to Luneta PArk, and gosh the park was filled with a lot od people. What do we expect, since its Sunday and also MOther's DAy, a lot of familes celebrated the occasion there. We watched the dancing fountain, played the colorful toy that can be thrown in mid-air, eat some pizza, and of course take a lot of pictures.

It was a day so fun, filled with good memories and new experience. Next year I hope that we could celebrate it again with a different style, different memories but same people and same feelings :)

"A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us when adversity takes the place of prosperity when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts."
