Recently, Nathan and Tita Laila visited us after so many months. I was pretty excited because I've been asking Tita Lai to come over for some weeks now because I really want to see the cute Nathan. I was not disappointed because I've come to see the big development of Nathan.

So, today I've decided to write something about Nathan and his brothers who are dear to my heart.

I can't actually remember the time where I met Tita Laila and her kids or the exact time when I really felt that they were already my brothers. I just remember that Jarf (my youngest brother) started studying at St. James and he was a new student. My mom was very hands on that she actually send and fetch him at school ( a privilege that I wan't able to experience). Because of that she met Tita Laila who was with Simon and Paulo. After one quarter, Simon and Jarf became friends and so is my mom and Tita Lai. Then we started going to parks together, spending fiestas together, Simon sleeping over at our house, Mama became godmother when Tita Lai become pregnant with Nathan and as the saying goes the rest is history.

The feeling was really like having your own little brothers just from different parents when we got together. Playing with them is having my childhood back again. Being with them is a breath of fresh air because of the goodness in them and the truthfulness in their words.

Simon is the eldest of Tita Lai's sons. He was more of the quiet and shy type for a young boy. But he is also masungit (snob) specially to girls (me included !!). At first he was shy and quiet when we met, but I tried to be on a friendly basis and then he become playful and has shown me his "masungit" side. He would start tickling me at school when we visit, or started calling me "panget (ugly)" during phone calls. I really find him smart, with his chess skills and English level when we watched movies and cartoons together. He is also mature and responsible kuya (brother) that I really admire at his age.

Josh Paulo or P.pao as we call him is the exact opposite of Simon. He is the more outgoing and crazy type.  It is always fun hearing stories from Tita Lai about his "kabaklaan(gayness)". I remember one time Tita said about a phone conversation about P.pao giving fashion advice to his girl classmate for their Buwan ng Wika  and also about his hobby of just watching TV and drawing and not playing any ball sports. It was really hilarious that we cant help but just laugh out loud.  But of course the funniest would be MY personal experience, it was when he called me "lokaloka (crazy)" and "maldita (bitch) just because I wasn't able to buy him a drink and I have with Simon (talking about jealousy). I admire him for being soo smart and being on the top of his batch without any help from his parents. ( So proud even he is not my sibling :)

Nathan is our baby. He is the youngest (only 1 year old). Since he is still a baby, it way too obvious why he is my bias. It was always cuteness overload every time we see him. He always have new antics to show us. and in his last visit he showed us how he calls and talk to his dad in their cellphone. It was too funny because after dialing he started talking hello in a baby's language and lie at the bed. He is such a boss. Nobody can really resist babies' charm :)
