The Amazing Spiderman Movie

Ipinaskil ni TheWriterInMe sa 5:50 AM 0 (mga) komento

So last Saturday I went to Eastwood with my sisterettes to hang out since its been ages since we saw each others for so many reasons. It was also Cai's treat to us for her post birthday. We decided to watch the Amazing Spiderman.

Seriously, my first reason on wanting to watch this is because of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Andrew Garfield because of his looks and Emma Stone because I'm looking forward to her smart mouth personality that I see TV and movies. I wasn't expecting much of a difference on the story line of this movie, after three Spider man which I have all watched I doubt there would be a lot of difference.

The story goes like this to have a different storyline...
Peter Parker is a son of a genetic scientist who vanished when Peter was a young boy. When his parents died on a plane crash he was left and was raised by his caring Uncle Ben and Aunt May.

Fast forward... Peter grew up to be a nerdy highschooler who fancy on taking pictures. Helping his uncle to fix some flooding on their home, he was surprise to di9scover a briefcase of his late father which has some hidden formula and a picture of Dr. Connors who is his dad's  scientific partner. Curiosity gets the best out of Peter that he decides to visit Dr. Connors where he disguised as an intern. There we saw that Dr. Connor lost an arm and is studying in trans-species genetics ( seriously scientific information overload) where he has a missing puzzle piece of a formula which Peter gave instantly when he visit him personally.

To maintain the originality of the story Peter was bitten by a radioactive spider while snooping around Oscorp and there we know that he develop some spider's power . Since he is a whiz kid in High school he was able to invent a little wrist watch device that has spider web like wire ( talking about newness in the story). There we saw spiderman in the making. How Peter search for the criminal who have killed his uncle while on the run after robbing a convenience store. And  o fcourse the main villain Dr. Connor/ Lizard Monster invading the city and fight our hero, Spiderman.

 My Verdict...
I will score the whole movie  9 out of 10. Some may contradict to my score but hey we have different opinions on what we see. So, why do I score them with 9?. For a movie that comes from a trilogy years before them, I have to commend the people behind this movie to bring a refreshing kind of story to a movie we all know. The effort to stay on the original story and making a refreshing view was really commendable so for that, CLAP CLAP.
What I also like about the movie is that its refreshingly witty dialogues  and cast. I have to admit I really laugh out loud on the smart-ass mouth of the characters and the funny situations presented on the movie. There were actually many of those scenes that Cai and me couldn't help our laughter.

The cast also did justice to thier charactes. Andrew Garfield just really make me say hius name and that his handsome throughout the whole movie. Me and Cai added one of more to the kagwapuhan list that we drool over. Emma Stone? well she never disappoints me a bit. She still has it, the msart mouth girl but only this time she is a smart, full bangs blonde chic that captivates our hero. The cast was also refreshing to the one of the old spiderman movies, they are all younger but nonethe less gives the story and charcters justice.

The special effects was also topnotch, well what can I say. That's one of my disppointment, that I haven't watch the movie in 3D. I might be in touch with Spiderman with his dangling over his web.

The moral lesson was also there with all the quotable quotes. The real lilfe lesson really stuck to you, on responsibility, being good, having the right choices and keeping a promise.

Marching in May

This is another late post that I have but since I'm unloading a lot of my piled up post I will use the cliche reason of all time "better late than never".

So, basically I wasn't really invited in this wedding, it was my Tita Myla since she will be one of the principal sponsor for the couple and Maui my cousin will be one of the flower girl. Technically, i will just be the photographer of that occasion.  The location is in Pampangga so we have to arrive there a day before the wedding.  Kuya Rommel and his family was really hospitable to us that they let us stay at their house and use their own rooms for us to stay.

Fast forward.. the morning at the house was really chaotic since a lot of us will use the bathroom and some preparations was to be done. Make-up, photo shoot and video shoot were to be done plus some flower arrangement and food arrangement was to be fixed.

Fast forward again..on the wedding itself. The wedding was held in St. Peter's Church is Apalit, Pampangga. I must say that the church was really beautiful. The church interior was really old design that you can actually feel the vintage feel or the Spanish feel of the place

The Altar of the Church
Side version of the Church. I tried to capture the whole beauty end but it was an epic fail but nonetheless I still find it pretty
Since all of us are camwhore we do some picture along since we arrive earlier for the wedding.

Our little flower girls: cuteness overload
Abays from the bride's side

Tita Myla with her bestfriend Ate Yna

One of my solo shot during the trip. Since I rarely comeout on the camera I have to make the most  of it. Good thing it came out well

Tita Myla with her kids
Me and Maui(  MAui dont like taking picttures with me that time :menopausal period a.k.a. sumpong mode )
Me and Ate Yna.
The procession really went by fast that I wasn't able to catch and get the right picture for those I need to take the shot. The only photo I was proud of was with Maui

The Bride: Ate Rona
When the part where the priest says to the groom that you may kiss the bride that when my camera starts rolling. THe step by step of the whole scene was captured in three shots. I was really proud of myself that I was able to capture it. (I'm really thinking of making money out of this uto's hahaha)

The rest of the pictures below are from the photo o after the whole wedding was held. Itwas really a simple and solemn wedding. I'm a bit disappointed because I wasn't able to really get pictures from the reception. But the reception was like the wedding ceremony simple and very formal. The whole program was followed even by small number of guest. So, to Kuya Rommel and Ate Ronna. Congratulations!!! May your marriage be full of bliss, healthy children and wonderful memories :)
